13 July 2022
HR CLUB – a focus on HR challenges in the retail sector
A peer network group to support HR professionals and managers.
Time: 4pm, 13 July 2022
Location: Pannone Corporate LLP (378-380 Deansgate)
What are the principal changes to the legal landscape for retailers over the next 12 months which employment lawyers and HR professionals should be aware of?
Our next HR Club will be focusing specifically on the retail sector and the employment law issues and challenges which are currently facing that sector
This in person event held at our offices in central Manchester is for limited numbers only and provides an opportunity for topics to be discussed in depth and in practical terms amongst the group. It also allows attendees to share their own experiences of these issues and to understand how their peers are reacting to these challenges.
Topics to be discussed include:
- recent case law and employment tribunal decisions which will impact on retailers
- the new legal right for zero-hour and agency workers to request a more predictable working pattern - the so-called ‘guaranteed hours’ law
- the proposed changes to the flexible working regime
The HR Club offers a programme of events taking place once a month, virtually or face-to-face, aimed at giving you clear, practical, plain English guidance and advice on the relevant employment law and HR issues businesses are currently facing.
Attendees can ask questions and share views in a relaxed and informal setting that is designed to allow attendees to get the most benefit from the sessions. Guest speakers feature from a range of relevant backgrounds and areas who will add their expertise and experienced views on various topics.
